as far as growth, i suggest stretching your relaxer.i have natural hair, but i do a lot of research & watch a lot of videos on here about hair care.using a hooded dryer for wraps and sets, deep conditioning, and moisturizing keep your hair healthy, and can keep your new growth manageable.weaves and wigs are also great for protective styles.and when you do touch ups, make sure you ONLY APPLY THE RELAXER TO YOUR NEW GROWTH!when i got perms, i applied it to my whole head...big mistake! hth;)

no. my hair is medium thickness. I don't believe you can really get your hair to be thick though. Maybe castor oil could help a little or just wear hairstyles that suit you.

Lye relaxers are less drying than no-lye relaxers. I use Affirm relaxer,but I had to use the Organics relaxer 4 mnths ago. I had ran out of the Affirm,but I did like the Organics relaxer. The less you do to your hair,the better your hair will be,because some products are drying on the hair. I like you hair cut,I had my hair like that two years ago,and your hair looks healthy from what I can see. I use Aphogee too,and Wave Nouveau keeps my hair moist.
